« Andy Warhol » is a spectacular visual biography just released by Editions Phaidon. This book relates the life and the work of Andy Warhol, personality whose influence is beyond the scope of art history. Author, filmmaker, actor, record producer, impresario, editor, fashion guru, television host, until his death in 1987, Warhol occupied all the scenes of the art and the world of the mundane of New York. We felt that this book lacked a sound dimension. So we will invent a soundtrack of the life of Andy Warhol. Rather than dealing with the sometimes famous music that are often associated, we will seek those that are less known, or more unexpected and accompanied him, yet sometimes obsessively, and give an insight into the life and the personality of Andy Warhol. A partition imagined by Jacqueline Caux, filmmaker.
